What are Wattles for on a Dairy Goat? By Jennifer Stultz - By general consensus of those who have attempted to define them, goat wattles are simply hair-covered appendages of flesh hanging from the throat area. They certainly attract interest at fairs or shows where those who are not familiar with dairy goats pass through.
